Accepting the Outstanding Group award on behalf of her Department, Stephanie Ciempka told the large audience at the Perth RMAA International Convention in September that a team of 90 had worked on the project which had resulted in the award nomination by Veronica Pumpa of the Australian Communication and Media Authority. Entitled 'Recordkeeping: It's your business', the project which incorporated a web portal, printed manuals and extensive training for all staff, was described as being "a bold and innovative approach to the serious business of accountability and good record-keeping" by National Archives Director General, Ross Gibbs and the J Eddis Linton Awards Committee agreed.
