INFLUENCE WITH INTEGRITY

24th International RMAA Convention
9 to 13 September 2007, Wellington - New Zealand

Where where you in September 2007?

It's all over now for another year. But we need your feedback on the event:

Tēnā Koutou. Tēnā Koutou, Katoa.

Mike Steemson

Hello. Hello all of you. Just as the Māori language, te reo Māori, is cheerfully enhancing the New Zealand vocabulary in everyday Kiwi life, the worth of recordkeeping and recordkeepers is increasing lustily in all parts of business and government enterprise worldwide. The trouble is that, unlike the staunch te reo Māori movers and shakers, many recordkeepers are unaware of, even uncomfortable with, their potential for influence within their environments.

That's what we want to begin to change during the three, fact-packed days of National Convention 2007, and its innovative post-conference workshops in Wellington, NZ. We will show how recordkeepers can make a difference, can bring significant positive, ethical influence to business lives... with total integrity.

We have engaged leaders of records, education and legal cultures from three continents, Europe, North America and Australasia. They will address the concepts of recordkeeping values within communities, organisations and the information management professions. We will engage your minds with formal lectures, moderated debate, open discussions and, post-conference, with full-participation workshops. We'll have fun, too, with top-line Kiwi entertainers, a sparkling, “Glow in the Dark” gala night and, of course, wall-to-wall welcomes. It will be the most varied and exciting convention yet so, where will you be from September 9 to 13, 2007?

Cheers and Welcome,

Mike Steemson, ARMA
Convenor, RMAA National Convention 2007.
