Don Norman will be presenting on The New Zealand Records Management Competency Standards on Wednesday
Don Norman has been the Records Co-ordinator for the New Zealand Qualifications Authority for three years. His previous experience included eight years in library management and a further eight in industry training. During the latter period he facilitated the development of units of competency standards for national qualifications in the retail industry, hairdressing and the service sector, and quality management systems to support standards and qualifications.
He is a member of the NZ Branch of RMAA and part of the branch committee for national professional recordkeeping qualifications.
He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from New Zealand’s Massey University and a New Zealand Certificate in Librarianship from the former Wellington College of Education, now part of the Victoria University of Wellington.
