Fourteen years of records litigation
Jonathan Redgrave has been involved in litigation and complex litigation management in tobacco cases, insurance coverage litigation, appellate matters, and general business litigation for over 14 years.
Jonathan regularly addresses pre-litigation concerns and solutions, as well as litigation strategies, involving the discovery of electronic documents, legal issues concerning document retention policies and practices, and the use and management of technology in the courtroom.
His work on both the Minnesota and Federal tobacco trials, including as the designated liaison counsel for all joint defendants from 2001 through 2005, has provided him with unique and valuable experience in all of these areas. Jonathan is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on electronic discovery and electronic information and records management issues.
He has spoken at virtually every significant program addressing these issues in the past five years and has been a principal or contributing editor or author to many authoritative works on these topics.
He was one of the original architects and currently serves as Chair of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Best Practices for Document Retention and Production. Jonathan previously was a partner at Jones Day, a Principal at Gray Plant Mooty, and law clerk to the Hon. Gary L. Crippen, Minnesota Court of Appeals. Currently, Jonathan serves as chair of Redgrave Daley Ragan & Wagner LLP.
