Kerri Siatiras with Philippa Fogarty will be presenting on Sector-wide scheduling – development of disposal authorities across a sector on Tuesday
Kerri has 17 years experience in the information management profession. She found her way into information and records management via a passion for history and archives plus a very strong ‘organising gene’.
Over her career Kerri has worked at Archives New Zealand, Telecom, Ernst & Young prior to joining SWIM Ltd. She has wide experience in both the private and public sectors. In these positions Kerri has held responsibilities in archives management, library management, records management (including electronic records and document management), knowledge management and now (along with her SWIM colleagues) provides consulting services in all of these areas.
She has significant experience in the development of classification structures, retention and disposal schedules, information policy and procedures as well and EDMS implementation. Kerri is also an experienced trainer and develops and regularly delivers training courses as part of the SWIM Ltd training programme, and custom training for clients.
Kerri was part of the SWIM Ltd team that developed in ALGIM (Association of Local Government Information Managers) Information Management Toolkit containing a number of tools and templates for use within the Local Authority Sector where she took the lead on several modules.
She also was part of the development of the SWIM Ltd IM Health Check© – a tool designed to measure the health of an organisations records and information management programmes.
Recent consulting projects have included the development of a number of classification structures and retention and disposal schedules for New Zealand public sector agencies. This includes acting as Project Manager for the development of the general disposal authority covering District Health Board records, a major piece of work covering the New Zealand health sector.
