Options, alternatives, and strategies for long term preservation, information lifecycle management (ILM), migration and legal risk associated with migration of information / conversion, strategies for preservation / migration of ESI will be explored and examined thoroughly with the audience. Authenticity, integrity and reliability requirements for digital migration and preservation as well as the ARMA guideline for migration / conversion will be an integral part of the presentation. The functionality of Retention Management vs. Records Management processes and technologies will be explored in depth, contrasted and well defined for the audience.
