Katrina has been implementing a diverse range of ECM Solutions in Australia and New Zealand for 9 years with Objective. Prior to joining Objective she worked in the library, records and information management sectors, for a time running her own consultancy business in Canberra.
At Objective she helped establish and continues to improve their Implementation Methodology and also leads several of their communities of practice. She acts as a conduit for records and electronic document management requirements into product direction and improvement for Objective.
Her biggest bugbear is how EDRMS implementations are often sabotaged by compliance considerations driving the file plan when today’s technology can keep it safely under cover - despite what her alter/avatar will be arguing today. Her actual other alter-ego is a yoga instructor for which she’s just completed an intensive 2 year teacher training and with which she’ll continue to help the ECM IT industry de-stress.
