May Robertson has been the Records Manager at the University of Sydney since December 2006. Prior to this appointment, May worked for more than seven years as the Corporate Records Manager at Optus, where she created, implemented and managed the records management policy, process and system from ground zero. Before May worked at Optus, she was an Archivist at the Australian Museum for over five years. As an Archivist by background, May is extremely passionate about Records Management, which can be illustrated by her 15 years plus experience in the field. Her industry experience spans from various state, local government and commonwealth agencies, as well as corporate experience. In her spare time, May enjoys playing Balinese Gamelan music and reading historical and biographical books.
